This illustration is based on a dream I had a long time ago, I`ve almost given up on drawing it kept lingering there on my desktop asking me to finish it..

He was made of steel, she was the child of the woods.. he called her his little mermaid and they were the happiest together. One day she got very sick and gods took her away from him. His heart was left to rust in loneliness...

Sad story, and I bet its not the first time you hear it...
